7 Smoothie Bowl Recipes

WOW, I have slacked so hard on posting on my blog. Ever since I moved back home from travel nursing- I have been in a creative rut. I rarely want to cook, take pictures or let alone write anything. Although it is easy to just push it off, this stuff brings me joy! I love creating and sharing- also my camera roll has hundreds of untouched food pictures and that is just not okay. Time to get my lazy ass back at it and I am starting off my creative reboot with a collection of my go-to smoothie bowls. I hope you enjoy!

Dragonfruit Acai Banana Bowl

  • 2 packets of @sambazon açaí puree
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of water

Blend on high until smooth. Top with fresh blueberries, strawberries, granola, and the star… fresh dragonfruit!

Tropical Autumn Bowl

  • 2 packets of @sambazon açaí puree
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1/4 cup strawberries
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of liquid depending on the blender you have
  • The liquid can be dairy free milk, water, coconut water, fruit juice…
  • serving of plant based protein

Blend on high until completely smooth. If using fresh fruit instea of frozen, add ice. Top with fresh berries and the omega-3 trail mix from @traderjoes

Mango Dream Smoothie

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups frozen mango
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of dairy free milk or water
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave

Blend on high until smooth. Top with fresh fruit and granola.

Pitaya Bowl

  • 2 packets of frozen @pitayaplus dragonfruit
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen strawberries*
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple*
  • 1/4-1/2 cup cold water
  • Optional: agave or maple syrup to sweeten

Top with granola, chia and fresh fruit. *if using fresh fruit, add ice to get it thiccc.

Blueberry Acai Bowl

  • 2 packets of @sambazon açaí puree
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of water

Blend on high until smooth. Top with your favorite fruit or granola. Today I chose fresh blueberries, banana, and dragon fruit.

Berry Chocolate Bowl

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • serving of chocolate plant-based protein (I used a packet of Juice Plus Complete)
  • 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup almond milk

Blend. Top with frozen blueberries, fresh strawberries and raw cacao.

Pitaya Matcha Chia Bowl

  • 2 packets of frozen @pitayaplus dragonfruit
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen strawberries*
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple*
  • 1/4-1/2 cup cold water
  • scoop of Matcha Chia Pudding
  • Optional: agave or maple syrup to sweeten

Top with granola, chia pudding and fresh fruit.
